Do you have an affinity for a particular herb? Have you been drawn to certain crystals? Maybe you collect rocks that always seem to catch your eye. These are each invitations to cultivate a relationship with these beings and their unique medicines. Perhaps you have already studied a bit or have begun to work with them and want to take things deeper. There are a good number of methods that you can gradually get to know your new allies with or dive right into a full immersion experience. Here are a few of my favorites. Dreaming: Take a fresh sprig of the plant, a crystal or the stone you want to work with and place it under your pillow (or inside the pillowcase if you are worried about losing it) Thank them for sharing information in your dreamtime. This may come through directly where you meet the spirit and have a lucid dream of asking questions or being shown energies and how to work together, or it may come through as an indirect influence of metaphor where meanings reveal themselves over time. Ritual Bath: Depending on the type of crystal or plant (watching for toxicity or dissolving) having an ritual bath is a lovely way to immerse yourself in the energetic medicine of your new ally, especially if you are sensitive to energy. Rose quartz, amethyst, lavender, rosemary, or stones from special places are all wonderful to bathe with. This isn't a "get-clean" kind of bath, it's a quiet time to feel subtle energy. Light a candle, do some mindful breathing, meditate, and allow yourself to notice how you feel, invite these energies into your thoughts and see how they shift. Make a tea or water: Again using caution around potentially toxic plants and crystals if using a direct method, or stick to an indirect method to be safest - you can transfer the energy of your new friend into teas or waters and bring these medicines right into your body. A direct method is one where the plant/crystal/stone has been washed then placed directly into your water cup, or if a plant it can be brewed as a tea. Some safe crystals for this are rose quartz, clear quartz, or non-irradiated citrine. Generally some safe plants are lemonbalm, lavender, or red-belted polypore (of course I need to advise consulting a professional for any contradictions with existing medical conditions). An indirect method involves placing your item into a flat bottomed glass, then placing this glass into a bowl that has been semi-filled with water. Your item never gets wet, but will infuse the water surrounding the glass with its energy. Again, being thankful and respectful of the gifts being shared with you. This indirect method is safe to use for any plant, crystal or stone. If you are very sensitive you may only need a couple drops of your water or tea to feel its effects, you might choose to sip all of it slowly over the day, or you may wish to drink much over a few days. 'Shamanic' Journey or Meditation: If you have learned the shamanic technique of journeying, or if you have a meditation practice suitable, you may glean a lot of information by visiting the spirit of the plant/crystal/stone that you are working with. You can ask for a healing, for guidance on how to work further with them, thank them for showing you just what the medicine they are offering is and importantly how you can reciprocate in the relationship. Wearing: Tuck your stone, plant or crystal into your pocket, into a medicine pouch around your neck, find or make a pendant where it touches your skin (some plants like Devil's Club can be dried and made into beads) In this way you are in constant contact with the medicine, the energies of this helper. Skin to skin or simply in your energy field, there will be a conversation happening as you move through your day. Mesa/Lia Mala/Crane Bag/Medicine Bundle: Some shamanists or medicine people carry a Mesa, Lia Mala, Crane Bag or other Medicine Bundle. If you have one of these, tucking a new stone, crystal, or part of a plant into the folds is a nice gentle way of bringing their medicine into yours. If it is right to do so, you might add this piece fully inside to work more deeply, to alter the harmony already present, and to stay as a longer term influence. Each lineage will have differing ways of working with your medicine hearth so you may want to consult an elder for guidance around this. Saining/Sacred Smoke/Smudging: Some plants, even certain fungi, are beautiful to cleanse and bless with while burning. You may already know how buffalo sage brings about a different cleansing than tobacco or palo santo, but you might also find rowan berries become your go-to for protection while lavender opens the door to your Ancestors. You may find that some plants instantly connect you to different healing work, helpers, or area of focus than others. Over harvesting of certain popular herbs gives us an extra nudge to look local and to our cultural heritages. What is naturally growing in abundance around you? What might your great-great-great-grandmother have burned? I have been sweetly surprised to learn certain plants coming to me have a long history of being added to sacred smoke rituals. I had been working with fomitopsis pinicola for about 20 years before I discovered some First Nations used it during smudge rituals. This knowledge deepened my respect for this powerful healing ally. Oh! how I love working in these ways! Remember, we don't just ask and take from our human or animal friends, we also care for them and support them when they need it. The same is true for our plant, crystal or stone friends. We are entering into a spiritual relationship, they may become sacred objects and part of your medicine basket, we need to always treat them with respect and honour. Never leaving them laying around or placed directly on the floor, cleansing and recharging them with moon or sun light, salt, the running water of a clear stream, or by saining. Feed them offerings, whisper your gratitude, sing to them, wrap them in special cloth or place them on your altar. This is a special and personal friendship :)

You might think healing happens during your session. You arrive, a service is performed for you, you leave healed. I have yet to experience this - in any modality. Have you ever had a medical condition that when you get to the point of showing a doctor the situation has spontaneously cleared itself up? Or how about a broken bone? You have it set and cast, but the physical healing takes place after you leave the emergency room. In my experiences both embarking on, and facilitating healing modalities, the healing process begins long before a session and continues long after. I have witnessed countless times in both fields of neurofeedback and shamanism - the healing actually begins when you make the first step on your path to wellness. After you have made the appointment, the energy is set in motion. You may find the issues you are aiming to bring healing to exacerbate, intensify and really get-in-your-face. Think of it like a detox or cleanse, the toxins are coming up to the surface for clearing out. This really helps you become acutely aware and hopefully more determined to work on exactly what is needed. However, this has potential to be an uncomfortable time. During your session, you my have a deeply personal experience full of raw emotion, visions, revelations - or you may come away feeling like it was interesting and nice but not revolutionary. Neither experience guarantees the outcome of your recovery. While clients and practitioners may both prefer a powerful poignant experience to confirm "something important happened" this is not actually the make-or-break point of your progress. The make-or-break point, sometimes the hardest point (but not always!) is after your session. The time for integrating the healing work. This part requires your active participation, your follow through. With a broken bone it would mean wearing an itchy, hot cast for weeks. In neurofeedback it is giving your brain a rest time to solidify new, healthier neural pathways, there can be no alcohol and reinforcement with various techniques is encouraged. In shamanism it means completing the "prescription" which likely comes in the form of a task or activity that anchors the healing work already done, and allowing your mind and body to remember the healing has already begun. This part is also essential to signal you are willing to do your part instead of wanting others to "fix" things. It is sometimes a trying time of being "tested" where you may need to utilize wisdom from the session. It's the time your internal work needs to shift and become reflected in your outer world, your day-to-day life. It takes time and dedication until there is harmony between the "unseen" healing and the "seen" life. The time it takes varies. Having support from your practitioner, friends, and like-minded community is a big help if you find this part tricky. You will know you have made it through the integration phase when you have an ease both within yourself as well as in your daily life around the subject you've been working on. When a triggering situation occurs your nervous system and emotions no longer respond in unhelpful ways. Peace, clarity, and awareness reign. Don't be fooled into thinking the healing process takes places solely within your session, but in fact, prior to, during, and sometimes long afterwards. Your practitioner facilitates, and Spirit directs, but You and your dedication is what allows healing to truly happen. A new business has been brewing in our town with great anticipation. I felt the sweetness of being contacted to do a space clearing and help shift some dense energy into freshness and light with a possible medicine bundle creation ceremony to follow. Initially this was to be a thorough smudging with some sound vibration clearing, but as the conversation deepened, the new owners mentioned that with the extensive renovations they seem to have stirred up a few "guests". We arranged I would come the next day. I spent the morning clearing and grounding myself with yoga and good food, gathered my singing bowl, feather fan, smudge, tingsha and rattle. All zen and ready to go....
I arrived to find a full construction zone :) Buzz saws overpowering conversation, hammering, drilling, permit inspections - the works. I just laughed! The fella was so apologetic, he totally hadn't even considered the impact such goings on would have during spirit work. I'll come back tomorrow evening. Sometimes the business of opening can't fit a 9 to 5 schedule <3 I had set up a healing tent during the Squamish Farmers Market all year in 2013 offering shamanic and energy balancing sessions, selling crystal elixirs and sharing information about shamanism and my private practice. Many travelers as well as locals were drawn to the beautiful soothing space created within the bustling market atmosphere. Hanging saris flowing in the soft breeze, crystals, flowers, silks and singing bowls graced my table of elixirs, and tucked inside the tent was the massage table cozy with blankets and pillows, waiting with my sacred drum and Lia Mala medicine bundle ready. On this particular bright and warm day while the music talent of the market filled the air with a sense of gaiety, John* approached my tent looking for a healing session. He had never experienced a shamanic session before and hoped to find relief from a deep sadness. I knew nothing more about his situation but I could feel his sadness. He lay on the massage table with a heavy heart, held in this gentle nook of the market place where we were afforded semi privacy; it feels like stepping outside of time and space. I placed my medicine bundle over his heart to absorb any dense feelings he wanted to let go of and to share the supportive balancing, energetic and spiritual medicines that lie within it. I rested my hands on various points of his body while I felt myself tuning into the healing vibrations inherent within our natural world; reiki and other frequencies that I had been attuned to during a shamanic initiation ceremony a year prior. When I could feel his nervous system settle and a sense of relaxation wash over him, I picked up my drum and began the steady 3 beats per second rhythm that supports the human brain to journey into a deeply meditative state. Within this altered conscious state, a shamanic practitioner can access the unseen realm of spirit to bring balance, healing and information back into our day to day realm. My shamanic journey begins on a beach that is close to my heart. There I find a log in the sand with an opening underneath it and I travel down, deep into the earth, until I come out into a place of healing that looks very similar to our day to day world. My helping spirit guides meet me and I can see John too, resting as he is in ordinary reality. A particular guide who I work closely with steps forward, this guide appears to me in the form of a harbour seal and is responsible for facilitating Soul Retrieval work. I know to follow him and I am lead away from John. We come across a small boy. This boy represents the part of John that feels included, connected, and loved. During a hard time in John’s life, this part of himself left to escape the pain that was happening and didn’t know it was safe to return. This was where I step in, and I sit to talk with this aspect of John’s soul. I tell him that John has been looking for him, misses him and is happy to have him come home. I tell him how wonderful it will feel to be reunited, welcomed and loved. The boy is relieved and takes my hand to walk back to where John is waiting. As we walk I ask him what he would like John to do to let him know that he is honoured. What does this soul aspect need to anchor this healing work? His answer is to play. To play and to blow bubbles in the sunshine. When we reach John’s body in this non ordinary reality, he embraces the boy with exuberance and they melt into one whole person. It is incredibly moving and beautiful. I express deep gratitude to my helping spirits and journey upward from this lower world back to my special beach. From there I became aware of the market sounds around me, the ground solid under my feet, the breeze on my face, and I stopped drumming. I connected with the feeling of the boy, the love, connection with family and friends, and the sense of inclusion that he represented and use a widely known shamanic technique called Camay, to blow the essence of this retrieved soul part through my medicine bundle and into John’s heart space with blessings. This is repeated into John’s crown as well. To finish the session I used a designated rattle to ‘seal in’ this healing work by rattling around his body. I gently brought John back to awareness of his body and the place he is in. I looked into his eyes and said, “Welcome Home”. When he was ready, he sat up and I told him the Medicine Story of the journey and healing work. It was very moving for both of us. It is not uncommon for tears of beauty, relief, and healing to come to those I work with. A couple weeks later I ran into John. He was incredibly happy and his heart was full. He shared with me that a branch of closely related family members had severed ties with him and some of the others a few years prior over a disagreement, and that he had been mourning this loss. A great rift in the family had been experienced ad John had internalized feelings of hurt, anger, and disconnect. He told me that since our session, these family members had spontaneously contacted him and amends were made between him and all family members. The family had been enjoying a great reunion, and John had been spending time playing and laughing outside as a connected greater family with feelings of love, feeling fully included and connected. John was instrumental in anchoring his healing work by following through with the remedy spirit had requested – playing and blowing bubbles. This sort of healing is not one sided, but a joint effort between the shamanic practitioner, spirit, and the client. When balance is made in our unseen realms, and integrated within the person, positive change begins to arrive in our day to day life. Recently John told me the session and subsequent reuniting of his family was “really a turning point” in his life. I personally am overcome with gratitude that I can be of service to my community and facilitate their personal healing work. I am honoured to witness. *Name has been changed to protect the family’s identity There is something about a Dark Night of the Soul that is indescribable. It is not depression, though often mistaken for it as it shares some similar aspects, but a Dark Night of the Soul has a Spiritual element to it. Somehow you know something greater is afoot for you to pass through, a test of faith that shakes the very foundation of everything you know, sometimes even destroying those foundations. Despite its name, this generally lasts many days and nights, not just one. There is a pause, a disconnect, a definite blanket damping out the light even if one is able to periodically resurface with laughter and short times of ease. It may not be apparent to others and it may take you some time to realize a Dark Night of the Soul for what it is. The expression “the night is darkest before the dawn” is meant to give hope, but when you are in the middle of it, dawn seems impossibly far away. That is why this elixir was created. To help ease this journey and shift into the light again while still retaining the higher purpose of the Dark Night. Lovingly Prepared With: Rain Drops & the First Snows – Some medicine traditions believe the Rain blesses us and bestows forgiveness. The water that holds the imprint of the energy and crystals used was rain water & gently falling snow gathered during the darkest nights of the year, and coincided with my own Dark Nights. There was a deep knowing this gentle blessing water gifted from Nature was meant to soothe aching hearts & souls. Mookaite – the piece of Australian Jasper used looks just like the yolk of an egg with a little wriggly red line from an edge to the center. Immediately this piece spoke to me of being nurtured and held like a baby and of new beginnings. Mookaite supports, sustains, brings peace and a feeling of wholeness during times of stress. It is great for times of difficult decision making as it helps us to accept change while discovering all the possibilities in a situation in order to choose the right one. Mookaite eliminates and blocks unwanted outside influences providing a protective shield against negative or dangerous situations, while promoting renewed energy, new ideas, enthusiasm and kindness within us. Hiddenite – a crystal of renewal, providing hope in difficult circumstances, Hiddenite helps in healing deep psychic wounds of the heart and dispels negativity, shielding the body’s energy fields from unwanted energies and influences. This crystal provides a constant pulse of loving heart energy. Selenite – remarkably peaceful carrying a very high vibration, instilling clarity of mind and a deep sense of inner peace. Selenite also cleanses and charges other the other gemstones, while being a powerful aid in psychic communication for interaction with wise ancestors, angles and spirit guides. Empowered by: As mentioned above, the water and intention of this elixir was gathered over many nights of my own Dark Night of the Soul. On the auspicious Winter Solstice of 2012, the longest night of the year, I felt a shift from darkness to light in my being and knew the time had come. After a ceremonial despacho and a shamanic journey to An Cailleach for guidance, this elixir was created during the time cited by ancient Mayans for the great shift of consciousness as we make our way out of the depths of a Bronze Age and begin to head toward a new Golden Age. On the first morning of this new age the sun’s rays further empowered this elixir – truly bringing the Dawn to a Dark Night. On Samhain night (pronounced sow-in) it is said the veil between the worlds is at it’s thinnest. That mysterious cloak separating the realm of our deceased from the realm of our living. Many cultures subscribe to this thought, from pre-Celtic peoples to modern Mexican. This dark time of the year is closely connected with the Crone, or Wise Old Woman, and marks the beginning of the end in the yearly cycle. On this night, more commonly known as Halloween, and within three days of the Full Moon, I created a gemstone elixir intended for working with our Ancestors. Specifically for healing work. This work may be taken on with intention and ceremony, or through Shamanic processes; journeys, curse unraveling, negative core belief repair, or even before meditation and opening your heart to communication; thereby facilitating conflict resolution or ‘saying what was left unsaid’. Perhaps you have other methods at hand in your healing basket. Simply take 3 drops under your tongue before you begin and periodically as you are called to during the healing work. Get creative, you could add a few drops to a preparatory bath, anoint candles, tools, objects or yourself, mist your sacred space or even as an offering. This Ancestral Healing Elixir was lovingly prepared with: Clear Quartz crystal with a naturally formed Ancestral Timeline: This type of formation has an inherent ability to trace ancestral difficulties to it’s source for healing to take place as well as holding the regular clear quartz aspects; amplifying energy, being easily programmable for specific intention, enhancing mental clarity, harmonizing & balancing energy while being, healing and protective. Petalite: sometimes called the “stone of angels” it is extremely useful for ancestral & family healing, going back to a time before the dysfunction arose. This gemstone carries a high spiritual vibration, facilitates connection with the spirit realm, intuitive ability & clairsentience while clearing negative energy and lending protection. Petalite brings a peaceful calm to situations and is quite useful for astral travel & meditation. Also considered a shamanic stone. Labradorite: bringing clarity, understanding, harmony, strength, enhancing intuition & psychic perception, especially during times of conflict and change. Linked to the Crone, Labradorite facilitates inner knowledge of the Mysteries, helps to release judgements and bring ‘shadowed aspects’ into the light. This stone is also considered a shamanic stone and supports shamanic journeying. Citrine: offers courage & self discipline, supports getting tasks done & matters settled. Great for uplifting mood & bringing forth feelings of Generosity. Helpful with healing emotional trauma. A stone that never needs energetic “cleaning” after use and is a gentle beacon of Light during intense work. Empowered by: Samhain Energy: A long held time of communion with Ancestors and the Deceased. Full Moon: A most profound refection of the Life, Death, Rebirth cycle, the Moon at it’s fullest heightens energy & empowers intention. A shaman woman friend of mine came from across the water to visit. We only had an hour and a half together and the rare opportunity presented itself that we actually could be uninterrupted by responsibilities, children, deadlines etc for part of that time. After coffee and cheesecake we immediately headed to the river to work with our Lia Malas – our medicine bundles – give some offerings to the land, and send blessings, gratitude and offerings for the work 12 shaman ladies were doing during a sweat ceremony that day. I asked her what type of place energy would she like – Ocean, Mountain, River, Fire, Forest, Wind… she chose River for its cleansing and clearing, and I knew I needed some Fire to accomplish the same in balance of where I am at. I brought a beeswax votive and we set off to a lovely river I have often visited. It always feels peaceful and quiet even on it’s “busy” days with a few kids and dogs walking along its banks. Well today was a different story. I hadn’t been down to this particular stretch since the salmon started spawning this year, and had completely forgotten about all the many fishermen who would gather. To top it off, despite the land on the other side being a protected Eagle sanctuary, the buzz of 2 chainsaws cut sharply through the air. The sweet energy of the place was being overpowered with jarring activities. Now, I do eat salmon and so it must be caught to do so. I have much gratitude for salmon, it’s nutrition, taste, spirit medicine, and legends. I do however have a hard time with catching them while they struggle to return to their birth place, full of wisdom, to spawn. To me, it feels disruptive of the cycle and is rarely done with the honour that is due. We didn’t have time to relocate and I didnt feel comfortable enough to be at the waters edge to work in sacred space among the men fishing and bludgeoning. I half closed my eyes and began to walk away from the river into the trees. I followed with my senses to a place. The right place. My dear friend was beside me and I lit my candle to rest in its cup on the leaf strewn earth under the birch. We took out our Malas and began our separate ceremonies together. The moment I held my bundle to my forehead and began with gratitude – I noticed the chainsaws stop. A sweet relief! The rain drops falling all around blessed us with forgiveness and gentle heart cleansing. The fire transmuted the dense energy I had been dealing with. The earth held and supported us. The trees sheltered us. I made my offerings, said my prayers, expressed gratitude, asked for balance to be had in this place as well as within, and thanked the Airts. When we were finished and tying up our bundles – the chainsaws began to rip through the air once again but a shift could be felt. I find it amazing what a short space of time working with Spirit can accomplish. I am blessed to be aware of the omens that accompany such wakeful living, for working with community both near and far. For the grounding among the chaos and the wisdom gleaned from the ‘ordinary’. As I walked away, I remembered a similar story I read on another woman’s blog – if I find it again I will post a link to it – it had similar connotations. She was heading into hosting a large ceremony only to be greeted with overwhelming chaos of logging taking place – the messages gleaned from that, the continuance of ceremony regardless, and how for just those moments – the chainsaws stopped. Does the Trickster keep bringing the “same old” problems into your life? Need to release patterns, habits, baggage or cycles that are no longer serving you well? Changing jobs? Moving house? Need to respond differently to a ‘stormy’ situation? “Loving Storm” gemstone elixir is intended to facilitate powerful change for bringing in positive energy while supporting your heart through the transition. Lovingly prepared with: Fulgurite: Sand struck by lightning and solidified by the intense heat invokes quick & powerful transformation. The Morrigan: A Celtic deity of Battle who sometimes appears in the form of Crow, this elixir was empowered on an altar dedicated to The Morrigan. Airts of the North: In the Celtic Wheel of the my lineage, the North is the place of Battle and of the Warrior, but also the calm before the storm. The quiet resting place where seeds of ideas germinate before sprouting into action. The Cailleach lives here, an old woman Creatrix with destructive storm energy, also of Celtic decent. Citrine: Brings Happiness, Joy and Optimism. Citrine offers courage & self discipline, supports getting tasks done & matters settled. Great for uplifting mood and brings Abundance, good fortune & feelings of Generosity. Helpful with healing emotional trauma, sleep disturbances, and addictions. Rose Quartz: Supporting with unconditional love, a very soothing and happy stone. It comforts and heals any wounds the heart has accumulated & dissolves stored energy from trauma. The Soul sighs with relief when it senses Rose Quartz energy as it intuitively knows healing has come with gentleness, forgiveness, compassion, kindness and tolerance. Wild Woman Mystery Card: I pulled the ‘Illumination’ card from this deck and kept it on the altar beside the elixir. Illumination is an Awakening. Your Divine nature. Purifying your body and soul. ”Thanks for giving me every experience I have had...it has taught me what I needed to learn.” *Excerpts from “Wild Woman Mystery Cards” by Elizabeth MacLeod Find them at www.wildwomanenchanted.com For those of you interested in Astrology, the planetary aspects also supported this elixir nicely. Full Moon in Aries: Decisive, forceful, a high-strung and controlling Moon, as well as being spontaneous, energetic, and honest. It suggests an aggressive attitude, quick temper, impulsiveness and brutally direct behaviour, acting with emotion rather than reason, restless and risk-taking. Mars squares Neptune: lends ability to dissolve old angers and pains. To ”bury the hatchet.” An opportunity to let go of violence or tension caused by differences, and empower those who once felt like victims, a shadow side of Neptune. Venus Retrograde in Scorpio: to take us into the past for better or worse, of enduring desolate moments, teetering on the edge, and recovering Joy afterward. From this square we may also be able to notice and let go of an old pattern of avoidance and find a new way to face our problem peacefully. Or find that our motivations, our old reasons for doing what we do, also dissolve, and now we need to search for fresh inspiration. - *Excerpt from We’Moon, a fabulous resource www.wemoon.ws Sun: Created on the Full Moon, empowered overnight & bottled on the day the Sun shifted zodiacal signs - from airy Libra to watery Scorpio. Therefore, latent in the “loving Storm” elixir is the need to complete old business on a high note. Emotional Charge: During the day of this elixir creation I went through the gamut of healthy emotions related to big stormy change. As the external world heated up I was able to fully embrace Trust and Calm instead of fear, then a short lived & appropriate shake to my core as ‘lightning struck’, followed by an easy regaining of Centeredness and Faith in the process of allowing the Highest Good to manifest as the Universe intends it. A positive internal change had solidified while the external realm makes the big shift for the better. Shamanic Elements: Guidance from the Cailleach, the Morrigan, the Warrior & Airts of the North for this creation process was incorporated. Transfiguration with Áine, a Celtic goddess of Sovereignty, the Sun, Love & Delight also infused the “Loving Storm” elixir. The creation process began on the International Day of Peace and was infused & bottled during the auspicious “Super” Harvest Moon of 2010. The rare conjunction of a Full Moon during the Autumn Equinox added Feminine strength to the balance and equality of night and day, rising into the Eastern sky while the Masculine Sun set over the West. It was a beautiful moment on the Ocean witnessing this ultimate point of balance. The Intention during creation of the Ultimate Balance Elixir was more than just a balancing of energies, but also mood support during the transition into the dark womb incubation period of the year. The turning of the wheel from the outgoing time of the Big Sun to the internal Little Sun can be a rough time if one is not prepared and fortified. This vibrational medicine was lovingly prepared with: Shamanic Guidance: a journey to the Sidhe for confirmation of the stones chosen as well as receiving additional ingredients. Citrine: A warming sunshiny golden stone of masculine quality that never needs ‘clearing’ or ‘cleaning’, it does not accumulate or hold unwanted energy ~ one of very few crystals of this nature ~ brings Happiness, Joy and Optimism. Citrine offers courage & self discipline, supports getting tasks done & matters settled. Great for uplifting mood during long winter months and draws near Abundance, good fortune & feelings of Generosity. Physically balances digestion, food disorders, allergies, diabetes, kidneys, liver, spleen, respiratory & circulatory systems. Helpful with healing emotional trauma, sleep disturbances, and addictions. Sensuality & Sexuality can also be heightened by Citrine. Onyx: This dark black Grounding stone also protects against unwanted energy, but in a slightly different way than Citrine. Helps smooth out “roller coaster rides” of emotions and is valuable during difficult or confusing times of our lives. Onyx helps you release the past or attachments and supports you during times of change. Its excellent in centering oneself & aligning with your Divinity or Higher Power. Onyx balances hyper sexuality. Physically supports healing of teeth, bones, feet, glaucoma, epilepsy & cellular damage. Apple Seed: Very feminine & fertile, apple is associated with Love and is held in high respect by followers of many spiritual paths. In its seed form, it also represents the incubation period we cycle with during Winter. Apple wood is helpful for making clear choices when similar options are presenting themselves to you. Connected with the Sidhe, it promotes Visions, Peace, Harmony and Oness with Elementals & Fae. Joy: A beautiful overflowing expression of love, filled up with gratitude, support and right relationship with purpose expressed in a single tear of Joy. Emotion aided the catalyst of alchemy taking place here. Singing Bowl & Song: Deep resonating sound vibration from a large hand forged brass singing bowl followed by a lullaby~like song “Sanctuary” invoking the peace of personal sacred space to be present within the energy of this elixir. Reiki : As always, Reiki, a channelled energetic healing technique, was added to this elixir. Feel free to glean more information about reiki here. Empowered by: The light of the Full Harvest Moon as well as Morning Sunlight just South of my creation space in the Center and followed by charging on a Balancing Altar of my North to complete this three day creation process. Appropriate libations were poured for the Sidhe, Elements and other Helping Guides of this process. ~Bless~ |
