When an 'unshakable trend' continues through generations or situations yet don't seem to match logical outcomes, sometimes a curse may be in effect. In times of old, curses were often placed intentionally, now they are generally placed without awareness. They may be made by foe, professional acquaintances, family members or by 'self cursing'. The power of word is strong and often used carelessly in our modern time. Great care needs to be taken when tracking the source, protecting the recipient from receiving, and unraveling the effects.
There are a few specific elements involved in a curse, while I won't spell those out here I will list a few ways to help prevent yourself accidentally cursing yourself and others:
~ Listen for any negative self talk, and try to break the habit of thinking harshly about yourself.
~ "Express. Don't Send." When overcome with rage or grief, feel these, let that energy move through you, and thank the Earth for receiving excess energy. Don't shoot 'mental daggers', glare an evil eye at others or otherwise project your anger or grief onto another.
~ Sometimes when indulging in alcohol or recreational drugs, people tend to get emotional and 'let loose', be sure if you are under the influence that you don't project your upset toward others.
~ Notice your language. Do you say things such as, "My family always suffers from______", "I can't get ahead in life", or "We can never afford that" Try to reframe habitual limitations so they are no longer limiting.
